  Q 2.What are the various Cisco Certifications ?
Cisco Certifications are divided into three categories- Associate,Professional and Expert.

Associate Has two certifications – CCNA and CCDA. Which can be taken in any of the two track – Routing and Switching OR WAN Switching.

Currently we are offering training for CCNA in Routing and Switching (exam – 640-507)
Professional Has two certifications – CCNP and CCDP. Which can be taken in any of the two track – Routing and Switching and WAN Switching.

Currently we are not offering any trainings for these certifications but exams are Available through our VUE testing Center.
Expert Has one certification – CCIE . Which can be taken in one of the following five following traks - Routing and Switching , WAN Switching ISP Dial ,SNA/IP Integration , Design

These certifications have online exam and Lab test.Online exams can be given through VUE or Sylvan but Lab test can only be given in America.

  • CCDA – Cisco Certified Design Associate
  • CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional
  • CCDP – Cisco Certified Design Professional
  • CCIE – Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert
  Q 3. I am not sure if the computer networking is for me. What does someone need to do in order to succeed in this networking?

A: There are many ingredients to succeeding in this field, but there are few important suggestions we have for students considering taking courses in the Cisco Networking Academy program.

Students should only take these courses if:

  Q 5. Are CCNA and CCNP required for CCIE?

No. CCNA and CCNP provide a stepped development path for an individual aspiring to CCIE. They are certifications recommended for CCIE status but not required.

  Q 6.Who is going to conduct Cisco courses?

Certified Instructors will be conducting these courses.

  Q 7.Will I receive any certification for the classes that I take at Al-Bassam CTEC?

Yes. You will receive an attendance certificate after completion of each course.

Yes, Cisco Course Kit from Cisco Press will be used for the training.
